“NEBUXEL – Connection” is Gammatrace’s very first NFT artwork, part of the series, minted on Valuart.

Connection: the leitmotif of this series. Connections that are digital, but ultimately human. A common thread that meets and intertwines with the core values of Valuart, whose “why” is to aggregate artists, tech, passion and culture…Resulting in authentic and long-lasting connections as a collateral side-effect.

Within this collection, the key protagonists, the “nebuxels”, are the emissaries.

Tez

This piece is in honour of Tezos maximalists, and represents Gammatrace’s deep-rooted support to the digital underground artistic movement along with the pursuit of innovation and sustainability, recurring themes throughout his works.

While gazing at this piece, let yourself be transported by a connection you had taken for missing, but that is back, stronger than ever.

Within this collection, the key protagonists, the “nebuxels”, are the emissaries of this deep quest and expressive research for a deeper connection.

As a matter of fact, each nebuxel can be interpreted as the personification of one of the core elements of the metaverse: space, memory, connections, computation and decentralization…It’s just a matter of connecting the dots.

Memory

Part of Gammatrace’s renowned Nebuxel series, this artwork is called “Memory”.

The subject, with its nebuxels characterized with beaming light in contrast with the dark surroundings, represents the custodian of our memory, such a fundamental component to the human mind and connection to one’s self.

Memory, that is not only extended to oneself, but shared and passed down through generations, leaving it’s indelible trace on humanity as a whole.

Fast forward to today, and we have extended this innate gift of ours to technology. The web has been flooded with our data, memories…Our whole entire life.

So much to a degree that it’s safe to say, technology has become our Custodian, dedicated to keeping our memory alive even after we perish and avoiding what we mostly fear: eternal oblivion.

Computing

Fourth protagonist of the Nebuxel series, we present to you “computing”.

This subject, “computing”, represents the computing power that constantly supports and drives the metaverse. As a matter of fact, the latter already embodies an ultimate degree of power both within the economic and geopolitical fields but not only: in the short term, also Medicine and Diagnostics will also follow, strongly relying on this computational power.

So you can really say that whoever possesses more computing power in a certain sense has the upper hand and follows “computa et impera” as a general rule.

Unit

Unit is the fifth protagonist of the Nebuxel series.

“Unit” , the subject, represents the essence that will populate the Metaverse: our projection in units, a sort of run towards singularity, uniqueness, the precise moment in which anything organic is removed from the human equation. How will humanity evolve? And does human evolution necessarily have to be tied to the physical world?

This work particularly takes us back to the underlying theme of the entire Nebuxel series: humanity intertwined with technology. To focus not so much on a perspective of the two subjects viewed as parallel in the evolution of mankind, but as an unicum, a continuous flow destined to fulfill our collective potential within the Metaverse.

Here, thinking and existing become one.

Decentralized

“Decentralized” is the second-to-last of the Nebuxel series.

The subject represents the concept of decentralization: a concept bound to become the solid foundation on which to build a society 3.0.

What will society 3.0 look like? Will we be making a better and wiser usage of technology? One thing is for sure. Once we get there, we will embrace the shift from a centralized understanding of the world, to a decentralized one. A whole new perspective that will respect the ecology of everything, both natural and artificial.

The subject, fully rotating at 360 degrees embodies this upcoming view upon the world, taking shape as an exemplary individual within Society 3.0. Here, as a matter of fact, every single individual will become a “nation”, granted equity in the access and management of personal information, with a layer of reciprocal protection.

Crypto

Crypto preserves and guarantees the integrity of Information, the most abstract expression that contributes to shaping our reality.

Information, not to be interpreted as solely energy or matter: after all, information is not born, does not die, yet is always subject to change. Information is never static.

By challenging the status quo, crypto is capable of capturing it just like a photograph, to preserve its valid condition in a precise point across space and time.

“Nebuxel 1/1” is a one-off piece of the Nebuxel Series by Gammatrace that takes us back to the essence of the Nebuxel project.

In particular this subject, in all its mightiness and candor, allows the spectator to capture the blueprint of the project: the immaculate technical soul, free from any kind of contamination.

It is from this moment on, that technology will encounter and start to meld with humanity, giving life to infinite facets of humankind — Many of which are yet to be discovered.
